Chief 201, Engine 252, and Medics 257, 258, 259  with 12 personnel responded to Whitetop Rd to a reported mvc.  Upon arrival, found two vehicles striking head-on and blocking one lane of traffic.  Hydraulic tools were used to extricated the three occupants.  Med-Flight II and Wings 4 were called to transport the two drivers, with the third passenger transported via M259.  Call cleared 16:03.

Engine 252  with 3 personnel responded to Gum Ln for a report of smoke in the residence.  Upon arrival, found light haze of smoke throughout residence.  Investigated and found to be the furnace blower.  Removed breaker and advised occupant of need of repair.  Call cleared 10:28.

Engine 252 and 3 personnel responded to Fox Valley Rd to assist with setting up a Landing Zone for Med-Flight II and Marion Life Saving Crew.  Call cleared 15:56.

Medic 257, Engine 252 and 3 personnel responded to a single vehicle mvc at the 33.9 SB lane of I-81.  Upon arrival, found left front tire had seperated from vehicle and landed in the median.  There were no injuries reported and traffic was controlled.  Call cleared 14:27.

Chief 201, Engine 252, Tanker 253, and Medic 257 and 6 personnel responded to a reported vehicle fire on Mill Creek Rd.  Upon arrival, found heavy fire in the engine compartment.  The vehicle was parked close to a small garage but no damage incurred.  Call cleared 18:08.

The Bylaw Committee has recommended these changes to the Constitution and Bylaws.  The proposed changes were submitted in writting on August 23. On September 13, the proposed Constitution changes will be read again and the proposed Bylaw changes will be voted on.  On September 27, the proposed Constitution changes will be voted on. 

Chief 201, Medic 258 and 5 personnel responded to a report of a motorcycle accident at the NB 35MM of I-81.  Upon arrival, nothing was found.  Call cleared 18:43.

Chief 201 responded to 325 East Lee Hwy to a fire alarm activaion which was found to be a malfunction.  Call cleared  23:52.

Chief 201, Engine 252, Medics 257, 258 and 9 personnel responded to the SB 36.7MM of I-81 to a two vehicle mvc.  One vehicle found in median after an apparent hydroplane during a heavy rain storm.  The second vehicle was found in the emergency lane, possibly being glanced by first vehicle.  EMS transport refused and traffic controlled.  Call cleared 16:12. 

Chief 201, Engine 252, Medic 258 and 8 personnel responded to the SB 34.3 MM of I-81 to a single vehicle mvc.  The vehicle was found in the grass with heavy frontal damages after striking an embankment.  The driver was out and refused EMS transport.  The vehicle was secured and traffic controlled.  Call cleared 08:32.
